Xceltra Seminar for Major Companies ABB- Schneider

Xceltra held successful seminars for major system integrators in Egypt, including ABB & Schneider. The Seminar Discussed the Industrial Networks and was presented by Fredrick Nilsson, Amr Abdul Kader and Tamer Hafez. We had a positive feedback about out interactive seminars, since our customers had the opportunity to ask our expertise and learn about the up-to-date technology in Industrial Networks, using real case studies in the field.

For the Second Consecutive Year, Xceltra Participated in the 5th International Control & Automation Technology Exhibition and Conference  held at the Cairo International Conference Center from the 7th – 9th May, 2011. Xceltra hosted its Partner HMS, Fredrick Nilsson (HMS Area Sales Manager) was Actively involved in a Seminar Presenting HMS’ view in ‘Industrial Communication – Today and Tomorrow’ where trends within automation was presented.

The event provided Xceltra with an opportunity to showcase their solutions advancing the creation of complex adaptive systems and multi-processing to serve a host of applications and activities, which attracted a lot of interested visitors and we had a good response from the market.

Automation Technology Egypt 2010 exhibition is held yearly at the Cairo International Convention Center in Egypt with the aim of networking experts, industry leaders and distributors mainly in the fields of Process Automation, Instrumentation, Controls Systems and Robotics. The event was held under auspices of his excellence Eng. Rashid Mohamed Rashid, Minister of Trade and Industry in Egypt. What is unique about this event is that it mainly targets system integrators in the Middle East with a primary focus on Industrial Automation. The exhibition hosted a number of 53 exhibitors mainly from Egypt and proudly industrial data communications was solely represented by Xceltra.

As elaborated by Dr. Muhammad Hammad, Marketing Manager at Sama Marketing business the international exhibitions and conferences organizer in charge of this event “4,000 specialised visitors attended the exhibition which was sponsored by renowned integrators in the field of industrial automation such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation and Wika International.” Dr. Hammad concluded that such a vast number indicates that the Egyptian & Middle East market is vastly growing, and that the opportunity for industrial automation suppliers is promising. An exhibitor survey showed that they came out satisfied from the event, especially of the visitors' profile which was mainly composed of qualified decision-makers.

Dr. Hammad added that the size of the Egyptian automation market is still modest, but with indications of strong potential for growth. According to the Egyptian experts in automation Industry, the industrial automation field in Egypt has immensely increased. The growth came especially from investments in oil and gas, mining, metals, ethanol and sugar, pulp and paper companies, and, from both public and private investments in Egypt.

According to Mr. Amr Abdulkader, Industrial Datacoms Product Manager at Xceltra “Xceltra’s booth was visited by few hundreds of professionals, most of them were attracted to our industrial data communication solutions, which is a very specific and important field to the Industrial Automation system integrators. Electrix International Power exhibition is held yearly at the Cairo International Convention Center in Egypt with the aim of Networking experts, industry leaders and distributors in the power-energy sectors.
